Amy’s love for travel stems from living overseas with her family as a teenager, which included a trip to Nepal with friends. She continues to visit far-away locations as often as she can, usually on horseback. Getting off the beaten track and visiting with local people is a priority. In addition to travel, her love of animals and quilting has led among other things to interning with the SPCA in Kenya and teaching women at a shelter in Mozambique how to quilt. The experiences she’s received throughout the world are truly treasured and she’s eager to participate in this opportunity to give back in Chhulemu.
